The two walked the halls, one seeming a bit irritated, the other seeming to be a bit panicky. "I didn't mean to talk so much! The other girls were really fun to talk to... Am I going to be expelled? Rey-Rey! What If I get expelled?!" Her panicked state soon caused her to sleep into her native language-Spanish. She was talking so fast that even her dearest friend, and practical brother-in-law, had a little bit of trouble understanding her. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders, sighing softly as he realized her eyes were extremely watered up.
"Esta bien... No estamos consiguiendo expelida... Sólo en un poco de problemas." (It's okay... We're not getting expelled...only in a bit of trouble.)
"Juras?" (You swear?) Her voice was so shaky, Rey simply held her closer as they entered the room.
"Si...Take a seat, let's get this over with." The fourteen year old barely nodded, choosing the nearest chair as hers, so Rey sat on the other side. Yet, she knew he was still irked by the incident that led them both to being here- He was leaning back in his chair, and his arms were crossed.

Saturday detention. Definitely worse than regular detention, and Joss had a few of those in the past. Mostly her detentions were thirty minutes and over her choice to go barefoot in many classes. The teachers who had sent her to detention over that seemed to think that her bare feet were some sort of distraction. Joss rolled her eyes at the thought. She would much rather have 4 days in a row of after-school detention than a two hour Saturday detention. The only positive thing about this detention was that Joss would be with her closest friend, Layla. They had been chatting and giggling during class which was a big enough offense to warrant a Saturday detention!

Joss had approached the classroom the her detention slip had told her to go to. She had never been to this room before, maybe she wouldn't have the stuffy old Librarian that didn't allow phone use or talking during her detentions. Taking a deep breath, she pushed open the door and found two students already sitting and no teacher or Layla in sight. She smiled at the pair before pulling out her phone and shooting Layla a text.

MSG to Laaaylala:

If you get here a bit late, you'll be in the clear

the teacher isn't here yet!

She hit send and took a seat near the back of the classroom. "Hey guys, I'm Joss~ what brings you to this fun Saturday detention?" She asked the pair with a chipper tone.

Layla's outfit

Layla hated detentions. She could think of a million things she’d rather be doing on a Saturday morning instead of sitting in a gross old classroom in silence. At least she was going to be with Joss, her best friend. In fact, it was partly Joss’ fault they both had this detention. The pair were too giggly when they were together and their teacher had enough. Personally, Layla didn’t think it was a good enough reason to have to spend two hours on a Saturday morning in detention, but whatever. She wasn’t about to argue it and earn herself another detention.

She felt her phone buzz in her hand and swiped her finger across the screen to see who it was. Of course, it was Joss, who else would it be at this time on a Saturday? She was glad to hear that the teacher wasn’t there yet, as things would have been way worse if she was late to a detention!

Message to Candy Floss Joss:

I’m down the corridor, save me a seat!

She added a cute kissy face emoji, but she had reached the door at the same time the text sent. She pushed the doors open, grinning as she entered the room.
“Aloha, party people!” She did a fake little dance to the seat next to Joss at the back of the room, the dimples standing out on her cheeks as she did. She shook her head slightly, loosening up her crazy curls, the flowers in her hair moving too. "Morning, beautiful!"

Freddie's Outfit

The last thing Freddie wanted to do on a Saturday morning was take a bunch of kids in detention, but unfortunately, it was his turn to supervise. That was the only downfall to his job – he didn’t personally believe in detentions. He figured that things should be dropped at the end of the day, rather than bring it in over the weekend. It was only making students bitter and have a negative attitude about something that was completely over and done with, and teachers were bitter that they had to work an extra day.

He wasn’t the kind of teacher to completely give in to his students, not by any means. In fact, he was known as one of the more firm teachers on campus. Firm but definitely fair. But he did feel for them, especially when they were as busy as these kids. They spent all day, every day, backwards and forwards between classes, every single one of them slaving their asses off. And he knew that a solid 70% minimum went home and continued the work. He’d had many students take counseling sessions with him and he knew how stressed out and busy the majority were. He’d taken a look over the list of students who were in this detention today and the majority of them shocked him. They were all students who had high grades and their reasons for detention were pretty lame, in Freddie’s eyes anyway.

He made his way from the staffroom to the room the detention was being held in today, with a cup of coffee in one hand and his papers in the other. He had some marking to do, which he planned on doing in the detention. “Good morning, guys. Not where we wanna be on a Saturday morning, is it?” His left eyebrow raised as he smiled, placing his coffee on the table at the front of the classroom.

“How are we all today?”

His first day of detention and Clint was already late. It wasn't his fault though, he'd made sure that his alarm was set and everything but his best bro killed his battery doing who knows what. Chase had put it on the charger for him, but didn't think to turn it on. Oh well, at least he hadn't slept in for longer than twenty minutes - but it still brought him to this, running to a place he didn't want to be but had to anyway.

It wasn't that far from the dorms, so that was good. He wouldn't be winded by the time he got there, he figured. This was a fair enough punishment for what he'd done, though it'd been a harmless prank - no doubt about it. Wyatt's history teacher had given her a lower grade than what she'd deserved and wouldn't budge when she begged him to reconsider. So, Clint decided to do what he did best, to teach him a lesson and show Wyatt that he was prepared to defend her no matter the cost. He'd gone through a whole pack of colorful post-it notes to cover the professor's car entirely - completely harmless and untraceable if he hadn't taken a few victory pictures and posted them up for show so Wyatt could see his efforts on her behalf.

Unfortunately the administration didn't consider his actions very romantic nor funny for that matter, giving Clint four Saturday detentions so he would learn his lesson. Though he could be using his Saturdays in a much more productive manner, he was glad he hadn't been in worse trouble. Now if he'd been a little more destructive in his pranking it probably would've gotten him expelled or close to it. Good thing there wasn't either bologna or jolly ranchers available to him when he was thinking up the prank itself. This would've been a completely different story.

As Clint approached the classroom assigned for the detention, he noticed what was clearly the overseer entering. Relieved as he was by this, he still hoped that he wouldn't get marked truant or something... was that even a thing for detention? He had no idea. Clint tried to be as quiet as possible as not to interrupt the overseer guy who was speaking to the other students there - an apologetic expression pressed upon his face as he took a seat in the middle of the desk arrangement. He didn't really recognize anyone there as people he knew, so he figured he was pretty much on his own as far as occupying his time went. Well, unless they were assigned something to do... again, he didn't know what to expect from Saturday detention, if anything at all.

When the detention guy asked them how they were today, Clint blinked blankly. He looked to the others as they responded and finally spoke last, "Uh, I could be better I guess. Could be worse too?" There was no question that he expected the guy to be harder on them, like a sort of drill sargent in a boot camp for bad kids.
