Giovanni Abella. A lot of people tend to call him Gio, just because it's shorter.
He doesn't really mind either way, as long as they pronounce it right!
Giovanni is 22 and his birthday is July 3rd. He feels so old compared to some of the people he takes class with!

Giovanni stands at an average height of 5 foot 11. His height and his body type complement each other very well. Giovanni is incredibly muscly and has a very toned body, due to the amount of time he spends dancing. His legs are probably the most muscly part of his body, due to how often he wears heels when he dances. All of his friends that are girls often tell Gio that they wish they had legs. Giovanni always jokes saying how overweight he would be if he didn't dance, due to the amount of alcohol he can drink, and the fact that he loves to go out to restaurants and eat.
His hair is his natural colour - a colour he would describe as 'the same as black coffee'. He leaves his hair long and tends to push it back. It is one of the most favourite features of his. His eyes are a match to his hair colour, and also the exact same shade as his mothers, something which Gio loves.
He almost always has facial hair, giving him the 'rugged bad boy' look. The only time he can ever pull off looking bad is during a dance - he is a very smiley, giggly and loving human the rest of the time. He just likes having facial hair, he likes the way it makes his face look.
When he is not in dance wear, Giovanni is very fashionable and he loves to keep up with the latest trends. He also likes to do his own thing when he feels like it and doesn't particularly care what other people think about him. He loves to wear scarves and he wears a lot of black/grey clothes, paired with skinny jeans and ankle boots.

Giovanni is known around the college as a completely carefree and fun loving guy who always has a smile on his face. He absolutely loves to travel and to go on adventures. He plans to spend a year, at least, travelling the world once he has finished college. He has been on many vacations with his friends, colleagues and dancers that he knows from other schools.
Giovanni loves to go to parties and has a reputation as a complete party animal. He gets so drunk that sometimes he can't remember his own name. When he drinks he is more loving than he is when he is sober. He is completely loved by the majority of girls, they all want him to be their 'gay best friend', although he actually bisexual. Giovanni seems to prefer sex with women but likes being in relationships with men. He tends to avoid relationships, however, as he doesn't feel like he has time to spend with people properly.
He has a lot of 'no strings attached' sex, and always makes people aware that that is his only interest. Giovanni has a completely flirty personality and loves to make people feel good about themselves. His Italian accent seems to draw people in and he plays on this a lot. He does get a lot of hate from other guys due to his dance background, but it doesn't bother him. He knows he is kicking ass and will get to where he wants to be in life.

Giovanni attends Metric College and is studying Dance and Choreography. He loves to dance, and his dream job is to be a choreographer. He has a completely different dance style to most of the other students, especially the boys in the college, as his dance style is dancing in heels. He has been working on heels since he was 13 and loves the feeling that he gets from it - he feels completely sexy. Giovanni completely oozes sex appeal, both when he dances and when he isn't dancing. He isn't afraid to show himself off and be over the top. His Italian voice along with his rugged look draw people into him. He sometimes oversteps boundaries, but never on purpose. As soon as he realises, he feels guilty and tries everything to apologise to whomever he has done it to. Most people understand it is just his personality, and he flirts more with girls. Watching Giovanni dance, he has so much sex appeal to go with his talent. He completely throws himself into all of his work and loves to perform.
He is an A* student, despite the manic life he leads. He knows he has to put a lot of work in, especially if this is what he wants to do long term. Dance is very hard to get into a career, and he knows he wants it more than anything else. Giovanni is currently working at a dance school in the local area a couple of times a week. They hire him to work with their male dancers one on one to get their emotions out and to really encourage them with their studies, and to also teach a heels class to their senior dancers. Giovanni would never teach a heels class to students younger than 15, no matter how mature they were. He feels like this is where his sexual behaviour has come from, and would not want to feel responsible for making children as young as 12, how old Gio was, sexy.

Gio and his father are very similar. Antonio has always been very supportive and encouraging of Giovanni's career goals and his ambition to dance. He took him to as many dance classes as Gio could attend and paid for him to have all the dance training he has received in his life. Although he has always been accepting, Giovanni was scared that he wouldn't accept him when he began wearing heels. It was the exact opposite, though. Mr Abella found it pretty funny when he first saw him in heels, but as soon as he saw him dance in them, he knew his son was going to be a star. He has the personality, the looks and most importantly, the talent. He knows Gio is going places in his life. Giovanni wants to earn enough money to pay his father back for all the dance training he paid for when Giovanni was younger.
Mother: Gabriella Abella, 48, dentist.
Giovanni always finds his mother's name funny, as it rhymes. Gabriella was always annoyed when she had to change her name when the two got married. Giovanni and Gabriella have also always been close. He has a better friendship with his dad, but Gabriella was the person he would run to if he had any problems or worries. She was the first person that Giovanni told he was bisexual. She laughed at him and said "about time you told us, we already knew anyway" and ruffled his hair. Giovanni will always remember how accepting she was and how she didn't make it a big deal.
Giovanni is, as his name suggests, Italian. He lived with his parents in Rome until he was 16, then he moved to California to study at Metric.
Giovanni loved his childhood. Growing up in Italy was beautiful, and he could never get bored of seeing the sights of Rome. He attended a very prestigious school and was quite a well-rounded child. He got into dance when he was around 8, quite late for a dancer. He joined a local dance studio not far from his house and was very interested in hip-hop and contemporary dance. When his coach suggested dancing in heels, he actually laughed at her there was no way he would do that. She managed to persuade him, and he is forever thankful that she did. It turned into being his everything. Of course, he still loves his general dance classes, but dancing in heels, and teaching his heels classes are what his dreams are. He loves being on stage and performing. He had researched schools online to continue his dance training and found Metric. His father paid for his plane ticket to travel to California and audition for the school. He was accepted straight away as the school thought he could bring something completely different. He returned home, only to pack his main things, and moved to California the month after. He still returns home as much as he can to see his family and is determined one day he will pay them back for everything they did for him.

Giovanni is best friends with Jasleen and is absolutely obsessed with her - in a none creepy way. The two met when Giovanni first started at Metric and they were both at the same party. A weird guy was there who was trying to hit on Jasleen, despite her saying no several times. Giovanni approached to make sure she was okay and ended up getting into an argument with the creepy guy. From that moment on, the two completely bonded, and the love how similar they both are. They are both ridiculously sexual people and they definitely play on that, especially in public. Giovanni loves to call Jas little nicknames, but the two that have stuck the most are 'Jazzy Pants' and 'Curly Caramel Cupcake'. Jas makes out like she hates the latter, but he knows she loves it really.
Giovanni is massively protective over Jasleen and likes to make sure he knows everything about the people she is dating. He isn't bothered to give them a talking to, just to make sure he actually likes and trusts the people she is seeing. He hates to see her upset, and although he isn't a fighter, we could definitely kick some ass if somebody had been cruel to his little Jas.
He is also good friends with Hallie and Lola, mainly due to the pair being such good friends with Jas. The four are very well known around the school, especially because they are all gorgeous and massively sexual. He always calls them 'Giovanni's Angels' when they are all together.
