Name: Miles Wesley Lambert
Age and Birthday: 32. April 29th 1983.
Appearance: Miles is normally not without a smile on his face, unless he is possibly concentrating or sympathizing with his company. His brown hair is normally kept short and a bit long at his bangs. He tends to keep a neat face, and if he grows out his facial hair he keeps it trimmed and nice. His eye color is subject to his clothing, often times it will go to gray, then dull green, and silvery blue within a period of a few days - though his eye color on the "record" / on his driver's license is gray. Miles keeps a toned build, encouraged by his physical trainer father to always keep up on his exercise. His tattooed arms, ear gauges, and nose piercing are often what most people see first when they look at him - but Miles is not a rough individual despite the fact that he can defend himself as well as others in a split second. He keeps his smile intact, so despite his exterior he remains very approachable. Also he keeps a pair of prescription reading glasses on hand because he is considerably far sighted.
Personality: Upfront but forgiving and considerate, Miles is very well suited for his job as a school counselor. He is a incredibly patient listener and insists to hear a situation out in full before making his mind up as far as advice goes. He is open-minded and doesn't judge harshly even when he does have to be the decision maker on recommending punishments. Miles can be very focused upon a situation if he feels compelled that he can make a difference, and his somewhat vain sense of grandeur always insists that any situation can use his mediation. Well, he just calls that his dignity. When he is determined to do something, he does it with his all. This shows in his exercise especially, but also when helping other's see the solution to their problems.

Backstory:
Born in Tacoma, Washington - Miles was raised by a really super couple and a great sister that learned how to be nurturing by babysitting him practically everyday. They were a military family, air force to be exact, so they were prone to moving a lot. Pretty much every other year! He didn't really feel the effects of all the shifting, his sister and him just able to find fun in their own backyard. The friends he met at all the different schools were terrific but they never did stick. He saw it all in good fun, maybe keeping up with letters here and there - but when they moved again not all of his mail would get forwarded.
The Lambert family was in constant movement up until Gavin's retirement, by that time Miles was already at the point of graduation while his sister had already joined up with the Peace Corps. When she first shipped off, Miles hated the thought of being without her company but he coped alright - making sure to always keep tabs on her and vice versa. The advent of social media was on the rise too, so he quickly learned the tricks of the technology and reconnected with so many people he'd lost contact with, which helped him keep his social life solid.
He stayed with his parents in their final move to live closer to his mom's only brother Rodney. Uncle Rod was already very dear to Miles, even though he'd only been able to really bond with him on major holidays or events - on which he always stood out with his many kitchen masterpieces. Now, living so close by gave Miles the opportunity to learn that the guy was way more like a buddy than his uncle!
During his college years, Miles and Rod would meet up at least twice a week to hang out, cook awesome food, maybe catch the game and shoot the shit. During this period Miles realized his love of tattoos and piercings. Though Miles' dad didn't care for this negative influence he perceived Rod to have on his son, Gavin tolerated the pair - making it clear to his son to keep disciplined when it came to balancing out those rich meals with periodical diet and methodical exercise. And to also not get carried away with the ink. Ronda knew her brother's intent wasn't to distract her son, though her husband meant well - reminding Gavin how Miles knew what was best for him and had no use for his coaching! Nevertheless a grudge formed between Gavin and Rod, making the holidays a little more tense then they had ever been before.
Nothing, not even the family tension, could mess with Miles' determination regarding his schooling. Psychology and counseling quickly became his life's passion. He'd phone up his sister and practice different methods he'd learned while she vented to him about her stresses and failed relationships. He even tried getting his father to admit that his dislike for Uncle Rod was unfounded... though that would be best left to a professional - but he'd get there!
The rest of his college years went by relatively fast, making plenty of friends on the way and introducing them to his uncle's amazing cooking once they seemed like they were deserving. Miles wasn't often seen on his own, unless jogging or at the gym, which remains to be now as an employed counselor at Metric. He specializes in bully cases, but he isn't limited to just that and advises on grief, self-consciousness, you name it!
