Minnie's Outfit
It was 7:30pm on a Wednesday evening. What else did Minnie have to do besides sit in the bar getting absolutely wasted? The answer was nothing. Nothing but about 14 homework assignments she hadn't yet done, but they definitely wouldn't be getting handed in anytime soon. Why the teachers were still asking her from them she'd never understand. Not one piece of work from this year had been finished yet. She looked up at the clock on the wall, just above the bar. She was supposed to be meeting a friend. But she had come down with the food poisoning, or something lame like that, Minnie wasn't really paying much attention. She just knew how boring her friend must be if she had decided to stay at home rather than go out with Minnie.
Looking around the bar for potential hotties she could sleep with tonight, one guy spotted her eye. She knew who he was. Or, she knew his name at least. Keegan? Yeah, sounded familiar enough to her. He had that bad boy vibe about him and Minnie enjoyed that. Anything that she shouldn't do, she enjoyed. The rest of the bar looked pretty boring. A group of over-excited girls who clearly had never drank before in their lives. A couple of groups of guys who were all nudging each other and looking at Minnie every two minutes. But nobody that seemed worthy of spending her time on. After making eye contact with Keegan for a little longer than necessary, she turned back to face the bar.
"Can I get another vodka shot over here, like now." Her words were already slightly slurred. She didn't even know how many drinks she'd had already, but God, the staff were so slow at doing anything! Honestly, she wondered why they even got paid. Surely having the privilege of somebody like Minnie in their bar was doing them a favour! She threw the shot down her neck, slamming the glass back onto the table. "And another."
She could sense somebody over her shoulder. "Make that two, seems like I've got company." Her face was smug, dimples forming at either side of her mouth. Maybe tonight wouldn't be so boring after all.
