Chase was never really one to get nervous before a date. He'd gone on a number of dates before so what was there to be nervous about? Maybe because he just didn't know what to expect. And it kind of was his first date with anyone at Metric. So it was a big deal. Not to mention the impressing factor. He and Max had really hit it off at the party; she seemed like a lot of fun to be around. And the fact that she was cute was a major bonus. Naturally he had to make sure he looked just as cute. So what was a good thing to wear...? The majority of Chase's shirts all consisted of graphics or funny sayings. Maybe if he paired it with a nice blazer it'd be enough to get the point across he wanted to make an impression and also show his sense of humor. He thought carefully about which shirt would be the best option. He ended up choosing a t-shirt with a winky face emoji. Hey, who didn't like a good emoji? He threw a black blazer on his bed to go with it along with a pair of velvet black pants.
Having just gotten out of the shower all he had to do was dry off and get changed. That included having to blow dry his hair. A small price to pay, taking the time to dry it and make it look good, but at least it'd be nice and soft for the date. But there was no way he was going to ever admit to anyone that he used a hairdryer. He heard it too much from Clint as it was. Wait, what time was it? He looked at his watch and shook his head. Crap, he was gonna be late! Finishing up with his hair, he threw on his clothes and grabbed his car keys and wallet. Now should he go cash or credit tonight...? Meh, his dad would completely understand if Chase wanted to treat a nice girl. Besides it wasn't like dinner and a movie was that much. Shrugging his shoulders, Chase put his wallet in his pants pocket and picked up his phone to send Max a text - luckily he'd been smart enough (for once) to get her number before they went their separate ways. Heading over. See you in a few C: Chase briefly knocked on Clint's door yelling, "See ya later man," but wasn't going to bother asking for luck. That wouldn't come across as very confident, would it?
When he arrived at Max's suite - and he made sure it was the right one - Chase took a moment to adjust his blazer so it was straighter and slightly buttoned. He knocked on the door and put on his most charming smile, waiting eagerly for his date.
