When they started cleaning up the spill the contents in which they used to clean up the substance could definitely be smelled, not that it really bothered Max, but she was a bit surprised to see that they would use something with such a strong smell. Better than other things though, right? She shrugged her shoulders at the thought and twisted the top half of her body around to see that the spill was just about cleaned up, her ears listening to Todd as he spoke in the process.
But when she turned to look at the boy, seeing the somewhat solemn look cross his face, she tilted her head to the side as she raised her brows. Was this smell bothering him too, or was there something else? She wasn't sure... "You sure?"
Ace gave a bit of a chuckle as he rubbed the back of his neck, patting down the hair afterward. Dancing should be fun the, right, if what Amy said was true? He tried to remember if there was a time where he had seen people dancing, but when he was unable to think of anything he shook his head.
"I guess I'll just have to take your word for it." He gave a lopsided smile, a hint of uncertainty in his tone, if only because he wondered how all of this would pan out in he end. Surely he wouldn't embarrass himself too much or look like a complete idiot, right?
----
Frowning heavily, Chardonnay crossed her eyes to look at the door, glaring at the thing as she listened to the woman behind it. "Clean them? You actually expect me to want to wear these again?" She scoffed, as if the mere thought of doing that disgusted her, which it did. "These need to be burned!" And there was no way in hell that she was going to walk out of the bathroom without anything on her feet. She should have known to bring an extra pair.
On the bright side, though there hardly was one to this situation in her opinion, the fact that she was paying so much attention to the substance on her feet the pain of her ankle was pushed to the back of her mind. Not that it hurt too much no, but the discomfort for it being wrapped up was nothing she was worried about now.
"And you actually expect me to stay here after this?!" Again she scoffed and grit her teeth.
