The quiet settled as night progressed on campus. It wasn't a rare occasion for the quiet to be broken with the rustle of trash bags and fallen leaves, now that Clay became employed as a night janitor. He contented himself away from his janitorial companion Willis, who tidied up the interiors while he picked up the garbage and raked up the fall leaves in to piles. Willis didn't much care for Clay's company anyway, or lack thereof. The rushes of wind in the night was Clay's only ally. Sometimes, on rare occasion he'd find another walking the path in the dead of night. On these occasions, he liked to play a game for his own amusement. All continued to be quiet tonight, though, and Clay just raked absently - tuning in to the calming sound of the dried leaves being forced together.
