It was possibly two hours in to her busking that Lillie took a break. She relaxed her back and head against the train station wall, setting aside her concertina accordion and unstrapping the mini tambourine from her right knee, placing it on top. Feeling pretty good with the influx of wayward customers, their loose change and crumpled bills now all hers. Maybe not what she would otherwise get from her part-time 'day job' - but hey, it was lunch money at worst. She wasn't going to bother counting it all now, if her modesty ever manifested itself it would be in the refusal to count money in public. That just wasn't a thing to do.
She brought her legs up and under her, letting them lift her in to a standing position on their own - doing a few lunges forward as to stretch them a bit after that extended period of sitting. Her outfit wasn't very outlandish, just a ratty sky-blue Rocko's Modern Life tee shirt peeking from under a button and patch-clad denim vest - her grey shorts knee length and frayed adorned by a few belts crossing over each other. And who could forget - her caution-tape-yellow colored doc martens. A train destined for Seattle pulled out of the station onwards to bigger and more populated stations - she gave it a cheerfully dainty wave farewell, some of its occupants having paid for their attention but fifteen minutes earlier.
All was well in the world of Lilith.
A sunny disposition was shining from her face and at the onlookers who twisted their faces at her.
Another day in paradise.
