It was...pretty spooky to be back on the old stompin' grounds of the Tanglewood Subdivision. Really. Lilith hadn't really considered how it'd be, to show her face around here and to lug a completely innocent Chad in to the mix - but it seemed alright? Driving in was a piece of cake, just quiet. Either everyone living there now was nocturnal or they were off whipping up one another's fixes or probably both. All the basketball courts seemed to haven't been used in years, all the kids there escaping the neighborhood in one way or the other, either by choice or force. She parked a good distance away to get a lay of the land, texting* Chad on her arrival before exiting her vehicle - just strolling along the cracked pavement, a stick in her hand tapping against the fence posts teeming with sloppy tags and graffiti'd dicks of all shapes and sizes. Here and there a dog reacting to the sound would bark at her. It really hadn't changed much. Home sweet home.
She jingled lightly as she walked, the chains and the strips of belts hanging about her waist - criss-crossing each other over the red plaid and patch-ridden shorts she wore. They'd agreed on the afternoon, to meet on Hawver and Mistletoe to scope out the best house. Somehow googlemaps just didn't cut it - it was one thing to see a place, and another to actually feel it out. Reaching the intersection, Lils just crouched down and sat in the grass, back against the fence. Breaking apart the stick she'd been holding she glanced in all directions, not actually sure which way he'd be coming and not even sure if he'd gotten the text - she hadn't gotten a reply yet. Fuck. If he was sleeping in or balls deep in some skank instead of caring about his art, shit would not fly. She let her legs stretch out before her, crossing one leg over - the more prominent of her combat-booted feet shaking in increasing impatience.
