Name: Leo Brock Fletcher
Nickname: None
Age: 26
Occupation/Art: Teaches the dancing courses in the school as well as choreographs many numbers that are done in any kind of shows at the school, which obviously means he excels in the art of dance.
Likes: Dancing, fruits, smoothies, choreographing dance numbers, Latin and ballroom style dances, contemporary dances, detail, concept of a dance or an actual story behind one, exercising, reading, relaxing, making jokes
Dislikes: People who don't try, when his students don't get easy steps down easily, not enough detail, unprofessionalism in professional situations
Fun Fact: Believe it or not, Leo actually gets scared pretty easily, or at least in instances when things pop out in front of him unexpectedly. No, he won't flee or anything like that, but he might yelp out in surprise, as well as flinch, or jump back, heavily. Generally he'll try to play it off to save him some embarrassment, but it usually doesn't work.
He still does have a bit of a twang of his New Yorker accent, but even when he lived in New York he never had that strong of an accent, but with him being out on California so much, he's actually still lost a lot of it.

Dancing Style: Leo's favorite styles, and the styles that he were taught most in school, were any of the Lation and Ballroom dances. Two of his favorites are the Argentine Tango and the Lindy Hop, though he has been well versed in just about every style of ball room dancing, latin or american. So while he can best judge technique with those realms, he is also well versed in contemporary styled dances, something he finds to actually be pretty challenging to get perfectly right, but the results can be marvelous, just like any dance really.
Appearance: Always wanting to keep himself well kept up, Leo is a pretty nice looking man. A very toned body due to his exercising on a daily basis and constantly, he does have a bit of a lithe form, or what he calls a 'dancer's body', but be that as it may he has muscles to his body and is still larger than a lot of male dancers out there. He stand five feet, eleven inches from the ground, has a bit of a paler complexion mostly due to the fact that he doesn't tan very well, always turning red rather than brown (it's kind of annoying, but what ever), and has fairly dark hair, obviously. Generally he keeps his facial hair cut down to where it's not ridiculously long, but there are times where he will sport a bare face, something that he generally doesn't like, but does it for the sake of what ever reason.
When it comes to clothing, Leo doesn't have a particular style that he keeps to. Usually he just wears buttoned down shirts, whether they're long sleeved or not, or he'll wear just regular t-shirts with some sort of jacket over it. And to compliment those he generally wears jeans, maybe slacks on certain occasions, but jeans are just more comfortable. When it comes to dancing, or at least practicing, however, you'll usually see him wearing some type of sweats with a wife beater or just a regular t-shirt again. When he's actually in a dance, it depends on the style that will dictate what he'll wear.
Personality: While he is mostly a laid back kind of guy, Leo definitely has his moments when he can be extremely playful or just all around a joker, especially around the people he is closest to. He likes to tease people, and poke fun at them in the process, especially if said person has no rhythm or can't dance, and just over all have somewhat of a good time with others, outside of school anyway. Now while he might be the 'playful' kind of person outside of school, he knows that he cannot act like that at school. He has to keep an air of professionalism there, otherwise his students might not take him seriously, which means that they would probably not take the lesson seriously, which could potentially ruin their careers. Basically, he refuses to be the reason why his students fall behind.
In the class and when teaching his students the art of dance, or at least teaching the the right techniques to the style of dance he's teaching that day, he is very strict and kind of a perfectionist. His eyes are only onto detail, and he hounds his students about it, always making them stop when he notices one mistake, making them continue to do it until they get it completely right. He'll often get a bit aggravated when things don't go as planned, or at least when a student doesn't seem to get the concept of a dance, but he's never just blown up on anyone. He knows how to keep his cool, and really all he wants to do his help his students learn and help them grow as dancers.
And since he is kind of a perfectionist in the class, it tends to run over into his 'out of school life' as well. Now, he might not be as crazy with detail, but in his living situation he is a very organized type of person. He knows where things are in his house and in his office, and if some things are moved without his knowing, he more than likely won't be able to find it again. He won't freak out about it, maybe wonder if he misplaced it or something and search for the item for a while, until he finally gives up on it, though the thought of losing something tends to bother him greatly. Hey, he just doesn't like things to be misplaced.
Overall, Leo knows when to be serious and when not to be, and he knows when to be professional and when not to be. Around his co workers and students, he is very respectful, and is someone who doesn't want to overstep anyone's boundaries unless it is completely necessary. He can be very anal about things when watching someone dance, always putting in comments, but again that's just so that he can help the other person grow as a dancer and a person, though his comments can come off a bit harsh in a way, or at least when he feels a person isn't trying or is messing up on things that he know's they shouldn't. He's just a hard worker, but while he may push his own self as well as his dancers, when out of school he always likes to relax and just reflect on things and just take thing easy.
History: Born on May 14, in New York City, Leo has always been used to the hustle and bustle of life, as well as trying to out do someone in order to be seen. His parents were never too hard on him, nor were they to strict, but they were always very supportive of what he had done, even when they figured that he could dance. Actually, how they found out that he could actually dance was a bit of an accident, and before any one ever really thought that he would do anything with the skill. He had been young, only about five, so they figured that it was just the cuteness of their baby coming out at their cousin's wedding when the music started playing. He just ran out onto the dance floor and basically took the spot light. The way he was able to interpret the music and create his own dancing way... Yeah, again, they all thought it was Leo being cute.
But it wasn't until Leo got older, however, that he and his parents figured that he could actually do something with this talent. As he got older he started to actually dance, and not just make cute little movements like little kids do. He actually put together moves and pieced things together with the music. So they put him into dance class, and his talent only seemed to expand. So much so that eventually Leo became open at school about his talent, despite he fact that there were so many people who teased him because he danced. But that was only to be expected. Yes, there was one point of time in his life where he almost considered quitting dance because of what people said to him and called him, but the words of his dance instructor is what kept him going.
Once he got into high school he went to an arts school in New York, one of the best decisions he thought he had ever made. There were other people that did what he did! All throughout school he excelled in dancing, always finding himself in dancing competitions, always placing high, though not coming in first all the time. And when he finally got out of high school and headed into college, he even started his own dance class in the same studio along side the same instructor he had had for years. It was, to say the last, the best thing in his life. He went on to choreograph Broadway plays, and even went on to put on his own productions with his own students. Life was good.
But things changed when he graduated college and got the opportunity to teach at an art school in California, Metric School of the Arts. He almost didn't accept the offer at first, thinking of all he could lose if he left New York, but ultimately he did leave. He wanted to help better expand the minds and dancing techniques for students who were extremely passionate about dancing, not to say that his previous students at his dance class weren't, but he wanted his horizon's to expand. Besides, he still to this day travels back home to visit and always check up on his former students, seeing how they were doing and everything, because, after all, they were his start at teaching, and he couldn't just leave and never come back.
So, that's how Leo found himself at Metric now, for three years actually, and he's happy, especially after meeting a very special lady in his life.
Other: One of the things he does to relax himself is to dance, or to choreograph a dance, which he does fairly often. Another thing he does is read a lot, or to just sit around and do... Nothing while probably just listening to music.
