Isabella had never really made plans with a boy before, whether it was for school or not. However, she didn't seem to treat it like a big deal. She had dressed rather plainly in an old, red tartan skirt her sister had bought her a while back, along with a yellow sweater that remained zipped to the very top of her chest, close to her neck. Her pink hair was ruffled around her as though it'd been hidden in a hat for a while, which was really from her hood that lay flat against her back- and her glasses remained well upon the bridge of her nose to see more easily.

Giggling upon realizing they both sported some sort of plaid, she decided not to be bothered to even point out the interesting little fact. Glad he'd found her easily, she gave a gentle wave while her eyes remained upon his face, almost studying him. "Good afternoon. You look well."

Her words were slightly unsettled as she adjusted her sweater slightly, sticking her hands into the pockets with a slightly powerful force. Looking curiously for where he was hiding the flour, she smiled vaguely and moved her hands again to take off her backpack, opening it to show its mostly empty space. "I brought some snacks and lunch, but I thought we could probably use the extra space to put the sack of flour in. It's easier to carry this way, don't you think?"

"A-Ah. I don't know what's out much but...I know my sister mentioned a movie called "The Wind Rises". I don't know much, but apparently the animation style might be interesting to study for future paintings, and the story's supposed to be sort of historical..."

Isabella let out a soft giggle when he pointed out their shared concept to hide the flour as they went about. She was unaware her making lunch was strange, and remained oblivious even as the conversation continued. However, she seemed to smile a bit more easily as it dragged on. "I don't know if it'd seem like a weird fetish or not since a lot of people know about the program, but...It's still embarrassing either way."

With his gaze towards the ticket booth, she tried to eye what he was looking at. She didn't know much of the theater at that moment, having not been there in a while- so it felt sort of refreshing to take in the sights, and the strangely intriguing smell of popcorn.

When he led the way to the ticket booth, she followed him with her own swift strides. She slugged the backpack back onto her shoulders as they walked, smiling nonchalantly as she caught up with him near the counter. "So should I pay for my ticket? I know you said you can get them for free, but I don't really know how it works, so..."

He had a good point- there were probably quite a fair number of people in town not even remotely related to their unique school by far. Of course, Bella hadn't bothered to meet most of the people in the city outside of their campus. She was starting to wonder, though, if it would be quite helpful for her to do so.

The bright girl behind the counter made her smile- both from her kind words and her energetic attitude. With a gentle smile, she nodded happily in the other girl's direction. "Thank you very much. I'm sure the movie will be fun. At least...I hope it is." A soft giggle later, she was returning her attention to the less enthusiastic boy next to her. She lightly shook her head, lacking any concern. "I'm fine. I find I eat too many snacks if I eat while watching something. Thank you though. Did you want some?"

After a last giggle of sorts, she happily nodded to follow him wherever the theater was. She didn't know what made one theater better than the other honestly, but it seemed like that was a good thing either way to him, so she'd happily accept whatever theater it was.

Adjusting the backpack on her shoulders, she gave him a smile and looked towards the numbered theaters curiously, though the curiosity's subject was more Arthur's words than their locale. "Is he really? I've heard of him, but I don't watch that many movies that aren't already on old tapes or dvds. But...If he's popular, then that means it must be an okay movie, right?"

"I'm still not a connoisseur of movie directing. But I do intend to study the art intensely." She giggled again, getting her ticket stub ripped right as she was speaking. Following him into the theater, she was surprised how early they must've been considering how few people dotted the room. It was quiet, and still fairly lit to let people find a place to sit. Seeing as he'd backed up a bit, she took the cue and looked for a seat that seemed just about right, finding a nice central area that wouldn't be too loud, too close, or too far.

Taking a seat, she relaxed against the mildly cushioned chair that folded out below her. It had been a while since she'd sat in a theater- she had forgotten just how awkward they could feel, and how the breezy draft at her feet tended to chill her. Shaking her knapsack off her back and laying it on the ground before her, she looked up at Arthur with a light smile. The backpack stopped the cold from hitting her ankles, letting her relax more easily against the low quality plush. "By the way, who's Susan? Is that Ms. Summer's name?"

"Ah, okay. I figured it might be, since my sister often mentions a friend by the name, but...I had to make sure." Smiling gently, she looked at the screen without changing her view- even though it was him she was talking to, and not the commercials in her focus. "You and your sister seem pretty close. In a way, I'm jealous. I'd like it if I could be closer to my older brother too. Madeline babies all of us because she has ten plus years more than we do under her belt but...My brother is only a few years older, so I think it'd feel nice if I could get along better with him."

Of course, she didn't feel she got along badly with her brother either. Lambert was just a bit difficult- after all, he was very distant, in her mind, and astoundingly lacking of emotions on his face. "But it's nice having an older sister that loves you, isn't it? From what I've seen, I think Ms. Summers cares a lot about you...And you seem to care about her a lot too. It's always nice...Seeing a family close like that. But that might just be how I feel about it."

His struggle with his embarrassment caused her to finally look at him with curiosity-glazed eyes. She wasn't quite sure what she'd said to concern him at all, and figured soon enough that it was likely just her imagination regarding the cough. Everyone had to cough now and then anyway, right? "True. I do try to talk to him sometimes. But I guess I really should just keep trying, huh?" SHe smiled happily, before turning back to the screen to see if the commercials had changed to anything more inspiring. Gently, she added a quiet murmur. "Thanks for the advice. I think it sounded plenty wise, though."

"Well, fortune cookie fortunes do have to come from somewhere," Isabella mused, deciding the joke seemed worthy- even if she didn't actually know many fortune cookies that were actually wise. "Though I don't know where you're getting those fortune cookies. Most of the ones I get say things like that old line, 'the past is the past, the future is the future, but the present is a gift you only get once.' Or...Something like that. So...Really corny." And that wasn't even including any corn flour or starch used to make the typical cookies in the states!

Though, she did try to imagine the magic wand that bound people together for a minute. "You know, you really are inspiring though. Now I feel like painting that wand that brings everyone together idea." Another small laugh, another simple smile, and another wave of pink hair falling into her face and covering her eyes. Awkwardly, she had to brush them out without getting them tangled into her glasses frames, but just barely managed to get away without losing more than a strand of hair. Shaking it off, she looked at the screen. "You should get a part time job writing for the cookie companies though."

She giggled again, although she felt bad that she was giggling over the idea of his vomiting from writing too many fortune cookies. She tried to apologize for her inappropriate laughter when she calmed down, but soon found his comment regarding how he got the idea too interesting to miss. "Cupid, huh? That might be plausible too. But I think cupid is usually a bow and arrow, isn't it? This is a little different since it's a magic wand or something of the sort. It's a neat new spin on it."

Of course, so were the new clips about keeping your phones off in the theater. "They've made a lot of improvements in the advertising industry, haven't they? Lately the commercials can actually be sort of fun. Sometimes. Still not as good as superbowl commercials though."
