He was already regretting wearing such a long sweater. Adatia had enough reasons to be thought of as a girl from the outside- wearing shorts under his father's old sweater he'd sent recently was not going to help. Wearing what basically looked like an old dress from a mother due to it's length both in sleeves and compared to his petite form. However, it did help to hide some of his girlishly slender legs- so he couldn't complain so much about that part.

It was then, though, that he saw the teachers, while he was wallowing to himself about his lack of manliness. He could see the English and History teachers well through his barely controlled bangs. If he had enough muscle mass, he'd ask said history teacher about joining the hockey team just to help his self esteem. Unfortunately, the likelihood he'd be able to join was little to none with his low strength. He'd be a better ice skater in the olympics than a hockey player any day.

Still, he had questions about his language homework- and surely Mr. Taylor could give him at least an idea of a sport he could do that might help prove he was still a guy. Curiously, he ran towards the teachers and the couple of students that were with them, clearing his throat carefully. He was nervous, but excited at the same time. "Mr. Taylor? Ms. Summers? Is now a good time?"

"Well it's up to Sam." Dante said to Ishmael. "Hey it's nice to meet you. You know I rather see you happy Dante. Hey Todd." Sam replied to Dante. "fine I will play but I will need my gear and my lucky stick." Dante said to Ishmael. "Well what can you do can you skate?" ishmael asked looking at Adatia. "So Ms summers what do you teach?" Dante asked her. "I can call you father and asked him to bring your stuff down here." Ishmael said to him.

"Anything else Adatia. I am guessing this is you girl friend Dante?" Ishmeal said to Dante and Adatia. "Yes she is and her oppions mater the most to me." Dante said to him.

The confusion in Todd's voice said it all, as well as his slight uncertainty regarding his name. Adatia laughed nervously. "Ah...By the way, just to be safe.... I know I don't look like it, but I'm actually a boy." Snaking his hand to his neck, he smiled warily to the other boy, embarrassed clearly. "I've always looked more like a girl, so I tend to go by Timmy to try to avoid confusion."

Of course, it rarely actually helped matters. There were actually some boys out there that still hit on him after he stated he was a boy, who thought he was just trying to turn them off as a girl. Those were the more annoying fellows. It was also annoying that most girls didn't look at him as a guy. So...So far, he had no real experience with dating. Luckily, that wasn't his prime concern compared to others with his energy.

Turning to the science teacher, he listened carefully. "Ah! I thought I studied enough on Thursday- I must have missed something when I re-read that section. Thank you, Ms. Summers!" His smile was sincere, and it stayed so even when he turned to the other teacher. "Um...I haven't had the chance to do many sports, but I'm quick on my feet and I have good balance, if that helps. I'm in the dance section but...I was hoping to find a somewhat competitive hobby compared to it..."

Gymnastics was competitive? Adatia had never thought of it as anything but a prelude to figure skating and the like. On the other hand, while it felt sort of feminine, he could probably accept it as training for his dancing career. Still...Would he really be able to handle it? "I never knew boys did gymnastics...But it might be worth a try since you recommend it, sir."

Adatia smiled happily. If there were men in it, that meant he might be less likely to be confused. "I've never seen it at all except for the small gymnastics classes they have near ballet schools back home. So this is interesting."

Listening to the teacher curiously, he smiled. "Yeah. Sports are good for getting rid of extra energy. I love dancing of course, but...I was hoping to find something I could do that might help people accept I'm a boy. For some reason, a lot of the other kids think it's just more proof I'm a girl, even though boys can dance plenty." He laughed nervously, looking at the ground. "I know they probably mean well when they call me one and all. But it's still sort of troubling. I mean, even as a kid, everyone would always tell my dad he had such an adorable daughter. And I'm an only child."

He laughed at the memory. At least his father had never thought him as a girl- just his very important child. Albeit, his father was very lax and hyperactive anyhow- and probably didn't know the difference anyway, in Adatia's mind. Still, turning to Todd, he was happy enough. "It's okay. I said I'm used to it, even if I don't like it. At least you know now, right?" He grinned, apparently switching quickly from his frustration to joy. "You really think I'd be good at it though? All I've ever really done is dance so I don't know much about it. What sports do you do, Todd?"

"I've never gotten to try baseball. Can I join you one day you play?" He was curious. He'd never played many sports outside gym class, which he hadn't had to play in yet. "But...You know, sports are good for your body too in moderation." He had a fairly gentle smile. He wasn't sure if Todd had thought him a girl or not, but he'd already gotten over it and moved onto the new topic. He knew well not to mope too long about those things externally. "I have to be careful about my physique as a dancer too. If I get too thin or too heavy, it really throws off my technique and balance."

Listening to his teacher's words, he was strangely surprised to find her sounding very much like a teacher- encouraging and inspiring. "Ms. Summers...Do you do pep talks on a regular basis? You're really good at them." Smiling from her words, he nodded his head and soon blew some of his thick hair out of his face. "I think I might try it. I don't know much, but I can learn. And it'll definitely be a good way to get some extra energy out."

Adatia smiled in response to Todd. He was very friendly, though his words were a little choppy- it made him happy either way that Todd was willing to play with him. "Oh, okay. Yeah, official teams can be a little much. But I think trying the gymnastics team might not be too much for me. I don't have a job yet, though. If I get a job, it'll be harder I'd guess. Takes time too, right?" Grinning easily, he leaned his head in his hand. "Does it feel weird when they're taking pictures of you? I got embarrassed in grade school when my dad would photograph my dance recitals. I don't think I could handle it as a career."

HE soon moved to listen to his teacher's pep talk and thanks. Her explanation about why gymnastics would be good for him made him more inclined to try it, while her otherwise peppy words sort of went through one ear out the other. "I wonder what you do at a tryout? But...I'll do my best."
