Kaya let out a small sigh as she searched around for a place to sit down, her guitar case in hand. She was wondering why she had decided to play outside instead of in the music room or at her house, but then she remembered that she didn't go outside much. She generally preferred to be indoors, but she happened to have a change of heart on this particular day. She was honestly in the mood to be somewhere with a nice white noise in the background. The music room was too loud and her house was too quiet. Somewhere outside was obviously the best option. Right?
After another few moments of walking, she found a nice grassy spot underneath a tree where she could sit. With a small smile, she sat down and pulled out her guitar. It was a beautiful golden-colored acoustic guitar that shined in the sunlight, the one she had gotten many years ago and was her favorite one. She slid her hand in her hoodie pocket and pulled out a guitar pick. Getting in a comfortable position with one hand hovering over the strings and the other over the frets on the neck, she took a deep breath.
She began to strum carefully, feeling euphoric at the way the perfectly tuned strings vibrated together to form melodies. Soon she followed with the vocals, her voice sliding from her throat smoothly and softly, accompanying the guitar wonderfully. She became so ensnared in her music that she forgot the world around her.
