Appearance: With his caramel colored skin and his five feet, eleven inch tall frame, Chance could be considered a bit of an eye candy. Looking identical to his younger twin brother, he does have a few, very small, differences about himself. He has a very athletic build and keeps himself in shape, though he still is on the ‘skinny’ side, so to speak. Or at least that’s what most people tell him.
This boy has a pretty strong jaw line about his face, no facial hair yet to appear anyway, though he’s convinced that it will come his way soon. His ears are a little big that support earrings in both ears, and his nose is a little wide. With his dark, busy eyebrows that are the same color as his hair, he puts a design on one, sometimes both, of them. And with him being biracial, mixed with African American and Caucasian, he does have a lot of hair, giving himself a little bit of a mini afro, though it’s wavier than anything. But unlike his brother, a difference between them, he has a few blemishes upon his face, zits that he is just never able to rid himself of, which bothers him greatly.
His style in clothes varies, though he does have a tendency to choose muscle shirts and or tank top kind of shirts and a pair of pants, or shorts should the weather permit. His shirts are usually a little tight fitted, if only because he doesn’t like how loose clothing looks on him, and you can almost always see him in some type of hat. Chance also likes to collaborate with his brother sometimes on what to wear, if only because he thinks it’s hilarious to dress alike and confuse people that see them. After all, what’s better about being an identical twin then having someone to dress exactly like?
Personality: Having always been considered the pretty boy out of him and his twin, Chance has definitely acted upon the prompt. Not so much that he actually acts feminine or anything, but he does have a tendency to worry about his appearance more than most boys probably do or should. Really it’s just his hair though; it has to look perfect in his eyes, which, a lot of the times, takes about thirty minutes to get just right. Call him weird, but he does like to look nice and keep the family name good, or himself really.
Nevertheless, when he’s done ‘pimping’ himself up, his true personality shows. Probably the most annoying out of the two, Chance doesn’t really understand his limits when it comes to his activness and hyperness. Really, it’s probably because he still is a little young, somewhat, that he acts like a child, though the fact that he has acted like this his entire life would probably prove otherwise. He likes to be doing things, and he likes to joke around. Call him mischievous if you want, because he does seem to be like that, though he doesn’t play as many tricks on people as many would think, though that hasn’t stopped the blame from being put on him so many times. He’s actually pretty full of himself too, but he usually keeps that in check, if only because he would rather not come off as a cocky bastard to his peers. Sometimes though, he just can’t help it.
He is actually very caring too, especially when it comes to his little brother and family. But, then again, when you as close to the ones you love, how can you not be? He’s one of those guys who’s still… Chivalrous, in a way, and will always try to be a gentleman when it comes to the ladies, though he doesn’t mean it in a way of flirting. That was just how he was raised, and in any case, no matter if he knows the girl or not, if he sees a guy picking on her, or seeming to be hurting her in anyway, he’ll jump into the situation. So he’s been in a hand full of fights because of this. All around, he tries to help the little guys and gals in the world, if only because he hates to see people being picked on, especially for no reason.
With that being said, he can be a little aggressive at times, though most of the time he’s just being rough because he’s used to rough housing it with Chase. This really hasn’t helped him much, but at least he’s able to defend himself, he reasons with himself. But that does make him a little impulsive; doing something without thinking sometimes. He’ll even try to drag other people along with what he’s doing, trying to get them to ‘try new things’ or just get them in trouble.
All around though, he’s kind of like an annoying little bug at times, though he can be someone that can grow on a person quickly if they can get used to his antics. He just likes to smile, and see other people smile.
History: Born on August 21 in Toledo, Ohio, Chance was the first to be born out of his twin. Only born five minutes before his younger brother, it seemed that even as he came out of the womb he was a bit of a character. Always did he get into something when he was little, always did he smile and grin at others. At least, though, he had someone to occupy his time with, so all of the time he didn’t spend pestering his parents, or even some of his friends.
The family was pretty well off financial wise. They weren’t rich, but then again they weren’t poor. Good thing the parents each had decently good jobs, considering how they had to buy double everything. The father was actually a veterinarian, and the mother an accountant; so really, they had nothing to worry about when raising their twins.
If one asked him if he was happy to have a twin, he would always answer yes. Though they argue a lot, he loves his little brother. They’ve been through a lot together, and though he has a tendency to give Chase a lot of crap at times, for whatever reason those two seem to be inseparable. When he first started school, he always hung around his brother, always playing with him as if he was the only friend he had in the world, which, in a way, was true up until middle school. The whole big brother thing never was taken into play with him, but he did pick on Chase when they were younger, out of good fun, he would reason with himself.
But once middle school came around he started to venture out and do his own thing, though still paying a lot of attention to his brother. Often times did he get sent to the principal’s office because of something he did in class, but nevertheless, even though he would get in trouble, he would just do it again. He had friends, a lot of them at the time, though there were people who were… Against him, so to speak, because of him being biracial. Never really has he understood why, but he figures that he has the best of both worlds, and will tell anyone that. Luckily they’re from the north, so he wasn’t subject to a lot of tormenting from kids, though, like in most school, there are always those kids who just can’t stand to have someone different than them. Those would be the kids that Chance would pick a fight with, so he’s been suspended a few times in his life already.
Middle school wasn’t all bad though, and he didn’t get in trouble all of the time. Those were the years in his life was when he discovered singing, even with his brother, and he discovered musical instruments. When he found that he had a talent for it, he went at it full force, and brought Chase along with him in the art. They would sing for the family, sing for the kids at school, but eventually their voices matured a little and that took them to a whole new level.
They got attention from many people, and eventually Chance started doing well enough in the guitar that he started playing that as well. He and his brother turned into a sort of… Singing duo, so to speak, though eventually they kind of branched out into a singing/producing and composing duo, him being the singer and somewhat musician of the two. It was then, when they were about eleven that they made their first demo in an actual studio that one of their mother’s friends owned. They made their own music, and made a little cd from it that they only handed out to close family and friends. That was when he really wanted to become a singer.
So they continued to do that over the years, until the mention of going into an art school to further along their talents. After auditioning, Chance being the one singing and playing the guitar a little, he was accepted after the audition, though he said that he wasn’t going to go if Chase didn’t make it. Luckily, the both of them made it in. But he knows that he still has a long way to go when it comes to his voice, since he's still growing after all, but nevertheless he still tries his best.
Other: Despite the fact that he does love his brother dearly, and how he loves to confuse people with them being identical twins, sometimes he does get annoying to him to be compared to his brother. Not that it really happens a lot, but he does have this want to be his own person, which, once he thinks about it, he really is. He’s actually very family oriented as well, and hopes that in the future, when he has a stable career, he’ll settle down and start a family of his own, hoping that he has twins, or maybe even triplets.
