#SCHOOL #SHIPS
Class:
Freshman (take two)
Major:
Cosmetology
Grades:
Not good. Logan's barely ever gotten anything above a C before, if that. Whether it's because she's just not interested or because of her varying home lives it's hard to focus, that's debatable.
Friends:
[insert]
Enemies/Rivals:
She CANNOT stand Cliff Arkwright. He complains. He's a big baby. And, above all else, he's a doof. Unfortunately for her, they're stuck being roommates and he just happens to be easy to blackmail. So if she needs something she's got a go-to doof right across the dorm for her.
Interested in:
Boys, PU-LEASE
Relationship Status:
Single. But chill boys, unlike that Kelly Clarkson song, she WILL hook up

Body:
Curvy. Not always in the best shape, probably because her environment changed so much. But that doesn't mean she's to be underestimated. She's an even five foot five and weighs exactly 115.2 pounds. That's right; she checks.
Eye Color:
Brown
Hair:
Long, slick. Dark brown, almost black in certain light. Logan never felt the need to stylize it at all, not that she ever could if she wanted to. She keeps it down nearly all the time so she can play with it or - even better - so guys can play with it. She keeps minimal hair accessories around (barrettes, headbands) but she'll almost never put anything in it. Why fix what already looks good?
Style:
Girly, mostly. Logan loves to wear skirts and show off her legs. She'll wear whatever top looks good on her or is most in style, whether it's a cute blouse or a crop top. She has a lot of shorts, though some like her skirts can be a tad too short. She'll almost never wear pants; Logan has some yoga pants for when it gets cold or snows but nine times out of ten as soon as she gets somewhere, she'll ditch them for a skirt. Nearly all of her shoes are heels to give her a little extra height. She keeps a pair of flip flops for the beach and has one or two ballet flats hanging around somewhere for comfort. She only has one pair of sneakers which is for an emergency basis only; they're old and on the verge of falling apart. But the only reason Logan keeps them is because after roughly six years they still fit and they're one of the few things that consistently stayed with her as she changed homes.
Ethnicity:
Logan doesn't really remember anymore. She's pretty sure she's a mix of something and that there's Puerto Rican or Columbian in her...maybe?

#FAMILY #BACKGROUND #WHATEVS
[Bio]Family
[Something] Valdez; Incarcerated - Logan's biological father was around for only one or two years of her life. She doesn't even remember his name, just that she's the only one in his family with his last name. Not like it matters; hell if she knows anyone from his side of the family. Basically, of all the men/fathers/father figures in Logan's life, he was the most decent. He didn't make much money and he wasn't all there emotionally, but he was there. That was all that mattered to a young Logan. For that brief time she knew what a happy family was. That is, until it was revealed he was doing drugs. Or selling them. Whatever. All Logan knows is the cops came, they found some stuff (material stuff and stuff on his computer) and he was taken to jail on the spot. Logan's mother never took her to visit him and Logan doesn't even know what jail he's in or what state or wherever to ask him questions. As far as she knows, he hasn't tried to make contact with her since.
Paloma Sarrina Ros; N/A - This is where it gets confusing. Logan vaguely recalls her mother and what she does know currently is few and far in between. Paloma, or Palo as most of her lovers called her, didn't grow up with much so she didn't expect much. When she got with Logan's father he promised her that she would never have to work a day in her life. With little education and barely any work experience, Palo made it work as a stay at home mom. She didn't even know what her husband/boyfriend/whatever he was, was hiding from her. After the incident with him getting arrested, she was deemed unfit for one reason or another to care for Logan, sending the almost-toddler into foster care. Since Palo couldn't find a job, she found what she found best: a man. He seemed decent; he had a nice enough job and easily kept a roof over their heads. He even married her as soon as she became pregnant. He was quiet and stern; didn't say or do much besides what he was supposed to do. But Palo loved him and their marriage and basic stability helped get Logan back so that must have been a good thing. When Palo found out she was having a girl, the husband (whatever his name was) was put off because he wanted a Junior. He refused to acknowledge what the sonogram said and kept referring to the baby as a he and Jr. When the baby was born it was a girl and he filed for a divorce on the spot. Palo was back to being a struggling single mom with two kids this time; a newborn and an almost four-year-old. So she did what she had done before; continued guy searching. But not many decent men would want a completely dependent woman with two kids, let alone who wasn't completely capable of caring for them. It got to the point where Palo got knocked up on purpose (though the paternity would later be revealed to be between three men) and the guy who she claimed was the father not only denied paternity but bailed as soon as he found out it was twins. If he didn't know he was the father of one, why would he step up for two? After the twins, two more girls, were born Palo did the only thing she could find. Stripped and prostituted. At some point with those 'jobs' she became pregnant with another girl. But by that time, it was too late. She'd taken too many of these men home to do things with and some neighbors went so far as to claim some of the men involved Logan and/or her sisters. The girls were taken away and all separated; Logan hadn't seen her mother since then. She doesn't know if Palo went on to have any more kids or what became of her.
Precious Nova Spurling - Precious is almost four years younger than Logan and born to a different father. She had her father's last name, last Logan checked, though the father wanted nothing to do with her. He supposedly never gave any child support nor offered to take Precious when CPS got involved. She was given her name because as disappointed as her father was that she wasn't born a boy, Palo wanted to know she was still precious to her. Precious is an African American mix with whatever Palo is. Logan has no idea where Precious is, if she even has the same name, or what she's doing. She would currently be 11 or 12.
Saffron and Scarlet Ros - Since their paternity was questioned they have Palo's last name. The parentage seemed to matter more than the twins, from what Logan remembers. It was a huge deal and a bit of a scandal. Logan doesn't remember the results, but Palo was able to test one of the three men. That one was determined to be the father of Scarlet only. The first man dropped off the face of the earth and Palo had no idea what happened to the third guy. Saffron's paternity remained in question. It's unknown if Scarlet went to live with her father which would separate the twins or if someone adopted them together. Logan did not spend a lot of time with them, if any at all, when she was little. They would be nine years old.
Rainbow Joy(?) - The last Logan heard from Palo, she was a month away from giving birth to her youngest sister (supposedly). She was pretty sure the name was going to be Rainbow Joy, but for all she knew, that baby could have been put into the system or adopted and had her name changed, too. Logan never met her nor has any inkling as to what she may look like.
[Previous] Foster Families
The Coden Family - Almost adopted Logan when she was young and would have renamed her Lana Unity Coden.
The Dela Fuente Family - Logan's first family in the foster care system. They had two older sons, one of which may have been inappropriate with Logan.
The Wickham Family - Logan's second foster family; they were more like a group home with how many foster kids they took in.
The Southers Family - Logan was with them the longest prior to her current foster family. They had one son and were fostering two other girls. She was going to be adopted by them until the son made a move on her. Logan began to fall for him and not only ruined any chance of her getting adopted, but was put into a much worse home afterwards.
The Hooper Family - She wasn't with this family for more than a few months. They're the one family Logan will never talk about (not that she would really talk about any of the other families anyway). She actually ran away before being tracked down by her social worker. It was bad enough there that Logan would have rather slept in a barn with cows than the Hoopers.
[Current] Foster Family
Travis and Aria Terezas - The first decent, open-minded people Logan remembered seeing in a long time. They had watched one of their family members go through the adoption process and had been wanting to give a deserving child a home for some time. Logan was placed with them a couple of years ago and, unlike most of the other families, Aria and Travis have done everything they could to incorporate the young teen into their family. It's still a bit of a process and there's some work to do, but they're trying. And even with Logan being an hour and a half away from them at Metric, they're always messaging her and contacting her asking how she's doing. Logan isn't in contact as much with them as she probably should be because she's afraid they're going to get rid of her just like all the other families. That's why they sent her to Metric, isn't it...?

Ashton Stefano Terezas - Ashton is almost 20 and a super senior at his high school. Her speaks with a slight speech impediment and was involved in a car accident when he was younger, causing him to need a wheelchair. He's not the best at school and he's not the smartest or most social person but he has a good heart. He has looked at Logan as nothing more than another sister, welcoming her with open arms. One of the first words out of his mouth when meeting his foster sister was 'you're pretty'. He is probably the only person Logan trusts with her life because he has proven he'll never leave or desert her. Just like he'll sit with her when she's struggling with homework, even though he knows he won't be much help, Logan will push Ashton as far as he needs to go. She and Aria have been helping Ashton learn sign language; not that they think he'll need it, but it's a lot easier for him to learn than something like Spanish or French. If there wasn't a chance Logan would possibly get adopted in the future by this family or that she was never in the system, she would totally hit Ashton up! Off record, of course!
Jaylyn Christianna Terezas - Barely a year older than Logan at 16 and the only member of the family who seems to want her out of their lives. Jaylyn was the spoiled princess, even with a younger sister and somewhat special needs brother before Logan came along. Ever since the family took Logan in, Jaylyn had been trying to make Logan look bad. She constantly brings up Logan's past, that she has other family out there somewhere and that her parents can't afford to put another kid through college. With Logan around, Jaylyn gets less and she hates that. When badmouthing Logan or trying to get her in trouble doesn't work, Jaylyn acts out for her family's attention. It's gotten to the point where she's more of a bad seed in the family than Logan. She skips class, smokes, may be doing some sort of drug (though that has yet to be proven), and got a nasty tattoo on her inner thigh. Travis and Aria have tried taking Jaylyn to therapy and, at times, joining her with Logan, to get to the bottom of everything. But Jaylyn refuses to talk or acknowledge anything. Most recently, Jaylyn revealed she's pregnant. She originally said she was throwing up so much there must be triplets or something in her (and gave the most in-your-face-look ever to Logan when she said it) but it was quickly proven that there was only one. With Logan now at Metric, Jaylyn has her parents all to herself to devout on her and her baby. But that may come to a screeching halt when they focus more on the baby than her and Jaylyn's back to square one. Logan's half expecting Jaylyn to pop up pregnant again within two months after having her baby.
Serenity Adana Terezas - Serenity is a very happy nine-year-old. She was excited at the idea of getting another sister and constantly asks when Logan gets her last name. She is very vocal about her opinions and hates that Jaylyn and Logan doesn't get along. When she wants to go somewhere, Serenity always asks if Ashton and Logan can come. She likes to paint and watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Serenity is just getting into the stage of life where boys look a little more cute and have a few less cooties. She will sometimes ask Ashton for a ride on his wheelchair because it looks fun.
History:
Logan was born into a questionable household. Although her father was always there in one way, he didn't seem to be there in another. Her mother Palo struggled as a single mom in knowing that she couldn't give Logan much except for a few choice things. Supposedly Logan's name is derived from her father's middle name, but that was never stated to her face. When Logan was around a year and a half, two years tops, the police broke into their little home and arrested her father. Palo had no idea what had happened and demanded they release Logan's father. But upon further inspection, the house was not in the best condition. It was very dark and dusty, every room was dirty and there were possibly drugs or something laying around for Logan to get her hands on. Even though Palo claimed to know nothing about it, Logan was taken on the spot and placed into foster care since there were no other family members to take her.
Logan was quickly placed with the Coden family and was with them until she was a little over three. The Codens had already began the process of adopting Logan and for some time had been calling her Lana, the name they were going to give her. Logan had just started to get used to her new name and new family when Palo came back into her life with a new man and a big belly. Palo had taken all the necessary steps to get Logan back and even married the new guy as soon as they discovered she was pregnant. Between doing everything she needed to do and proving she had financial and living stability, Logan was able to return with Palo. Logan didn't have a lot of time to readjust to her mother or her new old life before her sister Precious was born. By that time it didn't matter. When Precious was born and it was official that she was a girl, the husband up and left. For whatever reason - carrying on the family name, wanting to do boy stuff, having one of each - he wanted a son and, specifically, for him to be a junior. He couldn't do that with a girl. That left Palo with two young girls and next to no finance.
Logan saw a few guys come and go out of her life. Palo didn't bring very many of them home after Precious was born, but she did manage to get pregnant again. More than likely the goal was to trap a man with a baby like she may or may not have done with Precious' father. Palo talked to the man she believed was the father and he agreed to watch Logan and Precious while Palo went to her first appointment. When she came home to reveal she was having twins, the two of them got into an argument. The guy admitted that he didn't even know if he was the father because he heard Palo had been around with so many other guys. He was willing to try for one baby, as much as he already denied it, but he drew the line at twins. He stormed out and none of them heard from him since. Logan was five or six when the twins were born. No name was put under the father on Scarlet or Saffron's birth certificate. Palo managed to track down one of the other men only to find out he was the father of Scarlet but not Saffron. She was unable to locate the third man to determine Saffron's parentage. With no source of income, no financial assistance nor child support, Palo resorted to stripping and prostituting. That was when things became even messier. At seven years old Logan had to stay home with her three younger sisters at night because there was no one to watch them. That is, until Palo started bringing some of the guys home Logan and her sisters would all be cramped into one small room while Palo would be going at it with some random guy. Logan tried very hard to push those memories out of her mind forever even though she will have nightmares once in a while. The nightmares may be because she was just a confused young girl or because Palo was accused of letting one or many of the men do things to Logan or her sisters. While it was never proven to be true or not about Logan, something did happen to Precious. Logan and her three sisters were all taken away from Palo and put into the system. Logan doesn't remember what happened to her mom after that; she may have gone to jail?
Logan, Precious, Saffron and Scarlet were all separated. They were put into different homes with different families. Logan isn't sure what happened to any of her sisters; if any of their names changed; what state they live in; where they are now; who they are now. Logan was placed with the Dela Fuente family who already had two older biological sons, aged 12 and 15 at the time. Logan was scared and confused even though the parents tried to help her feel welcome into the family. Talking to her mother barely didn't help at all, nor did any of the letters. Logan remembers the last time she saw her mother, she asked her when she would get to go home. Palo told her that wasn't going to happen and that she had to make sure baby Rainbow inside of her wouldn't get taken away like all her other kids. Logan hadn't heard from her since nor does she know if her mother had any other kids after.
The Dela Fuente family lasted almost two years. The parents seemed nice enough, hard as they tried, but their boys were a different story. The older son could care less. The younger one, however, was beginning to have these urges and exploring his sexuality. Logan doesn't know if he did anything to her specifically, except that one morning she woke up screaming at where his hand was. She tried telling the foster parents about what happened but not only did the son deny anything, the parents believed their own flesh and blood over a little girl. They tried getting Logan's social worker to take her back, but they would have to keep her until another placement was found. Logan was scared of her brothers, even the father, and refused to let any of them come near her. When the social worker finally came and picked her up she told her what happened, even though she didn't think she would be believed. The worker took her to a doctor where it was revealed there was no penetration, but because of the time that had passed they couldn't tell if anything else occurred.
Logan was ten when she was placed with the Wickham family. Well, they were more like a group home. They had a large house and enough space for all the kids. Logan could never keep track of how many kids they fostered at once. In that house, she learned just how much she had to keep her things to herself and that if she didn't get to anything (like food) first then she wouldn't get anything. Not many of the kids were friendly and a number of them had one problem or another. When it was revealed the Wickhams were only fostering that many kids for money purposes, the children were all removed and placed elsewhere. Logan would not miss that home.
At eleven, Logan was fostered along with two other girls by the Southers. They were a good, Christian, happy family. They lived in a good neighborhood, had good morals and seemed to be doing a good job raising their son Marcus. The two girls they were fostering, Zara and Zia, were sisters who (unlike Logan and her family) ever refused to be separated. They were in the process of having their adoption completed when Logan arrived. The girls were five and six while Marcus was 16, putting Logan as the middle child. Logan didn't have much of a problem with that; it was nice to be in a normal family for once. She slowly grasped how things worked in the Southers household. The dad would work long hours to support the family, the mother was a soccer mom who was able to do her work from home, the sisters did everything together, and when Marcus wasn't playing sports he was making moves on the ladies. That was Logan's first real experience with how most guys worked as opposed to messing around with her. When the parents would go out for date nights, Marcus would be in charge of the girls. After putting Zara and Zia to bed he would sneak a girl from his school inside and make Logan promise not to tell his parents. He did that a number of times, which made Logan jealous. She couldn't explain why, but the thought of him being with these other women when he was supposed to be with her drove her crazy. She kept quiet about it for a year, even when one of the cheerleaders Marcus brought home thought she contracted something from him. It was a false alarm, fortunately. But that was the wakeup call Logan needed to talk to her foster brother. She asked him what was going on with those girls. He promised her there was nothing to worry about; that it wasn't her concern. Logan retorted that if she was going to be his sister ever, that it was going to bother her. Marcus took that a different way, hearing Logan saying she wanted him instead. He asked if she was jealous at all, which she admitted to. After that he kissed her cheek, asking how that made her feel. Logan's face heated up at the action and her heart started racing. She was only able to give a nod, not even sure what it meant let alone able to say a word. Marcus, being so good with the girls, said that it was called love.
What Marcus said bothered Logan for a while, but she kept it to herself. After what happened with her first foster family, she didn't want to risk anything wrong happening here. But there were moments where, when no one else was watching, she couldn't help but stare at her foster brother. She'd secretly spy from her bedroom door when he came out of the shower. She would feel herself growing more angry and jealous every time he brought a different girl around or introducing someone to his parents as his girlfriend. There were only two times where Logan let anything slip out; fortunately for her, no one took it in that way. It was Marcus' mother who talked to her after that, saying she understood what was going on in Logan's head. That she felt such a strong bond with Marcus as her brother and that she might have also been jealous because of how close Zara and Zia were. She promised not to worry, and Logan took it to heart. When she was twelve, Logan wasn't sure what snapped in her, exactly. She doesn't remember what made her do anything or what she or anyone said or did. But she ended up going into Marcus' room. And the next thing she knew, they were making out. Nothing happened that particular night because they heard his parents come home, though they had gotten pretty close. Close enough to be almost completely naked with Marcus' mouth on Logan's chest. It heated Logan up to think about what had happened between them. How far they had gone. That it felt so different from what her first foster brother possible did or being told that someone did and she didn't remember. But she liked it. She wanted more. Somehow it felt like she was being treated the right way. But when the Southers said they were officially moving forward with Logan's adoption, that should have put the breaks on anything happening between Logan and Marcus.
Except it didn't. Logan tried not to think about anything, to push any thoughts about Marcus or how she felt out of her head. She arrived home early from school one day and Marcus was the only one home at the time for some reason. They started with a normal conversation, like him asking her what was wrong. He promised he'd make her feel better and tried to make a move. Logan reciprocated until she felt his hand go under her shirt. She told him they had to stop because she was getting adopted. That should have been enough to get Marcus to back off. Instead he said it wasn't happening. That his parents were just saying that to make Logan feel like she had a family. They didn't really want her because they had two girls already; they just felt sorry for her. In reality, he only said that to get what he wanted from Logan even though he could have gotten it from any other girl. But Logan was the one there so it wasn't like it mattered to him. At the time, Logan didn't know that and it was enough for her. She willingly gave into Marcus and it was her first real experience. She'd never felt so at home. So comforted. So loved. No guy or man had ever treated her that way before. It felt like that was how she was supposed to be. Nothing ever felt so right. At least, that's what she thought. They did it a few more times, though they probably would have done more if given the opportunity. That is, until one of the girls walked in on them and screamed. The rest of the family rushed in to see Marcus on top of Logan and, while Logan wasn't completely naked, she was caught in an extremely compromising position. Marcus immediately pushed her off of him and questioned what the hell she was doing. He insisted to his parents that he didn't ask for this and proceeded to come up with stories he heard from his friends who had siblings in middle school. That there was some girl getting blow jobs or going at it in the classrooms or bathrooms or whatever. And that the girl was Logan. Suddenly everything came crashing down for Logan again. She never felt so violated or betrayed in her life. Especially not by someone like Marcus. Everything with the Southers came to a screeching halt. They scrapped her adoption entirely and wanted nothing to do with her. Logan was kicked out of the family just short of her thirteenth birthday.
At that point Logan might as well have been blackballed in the system. She possibly did something with one of her former foster brothers and she slept with another one. That was one of the worst things any foster kid could do. Her social worker at that point didn't seem to care anymore. That was the end of it. She placed Logan in the only family that would take her, the Hoopers, and pretty much dropped her. If there were any family that Logan would refuse to talk about more so than the others, it was the Hoopers. They did absolutely nothing for her. She felt their judgmental stares at her all the time. She was pretty sure she heard them talking about her, wondering what their friends and family would think about the kid they took in. Things were so bad there that she just grabbed whatever things of hers she could and left without a word.
Logan didn't remember how, but eventually she ended up with a new social worker. She tried to talk more to Logan about what was going on and why she left the Hoopers; how much worse it could have been if they didn't find her. This social worker was different; while this wouldn't be a person around in her life forever, she was still making the effort. And she was the only person that Logan didn't feel was judging her. No, it wouldn't be enough to stop Logan from looking at others the way she felt looked at so many times. But it was a step in the right direction. Eventually, Logan admitted that one of the reasons she left the Hoopers was because she thought she was pregnant; the house was already horrible enough for her so why make it worse for someone completely helpless? The social worker took it upon herself to take Logan to a clinic where it was revealed she was not pregnant; the stress and worry on her body likely had something to do with her causing to miss a period. But that still didn't solve the problem of finding a family that would take her in. Even if someone did foster her, there was no guarantee that Logan would stay there until she graduated middle school and she was hella doubtful that she'd be adopted before turning 18. Fortunately, there was one family willing to take a chance on her.
Logan was welcomed into the Terezas family. The parents tried to be accommodating, which Logan secretly appreciated, but she didn't want to hear anything about it. She'd lock herself in her room not wanting to do anything. She stopped caring about how she looked. She stopped caring if she'd be able to eat anything. She stopped caring in general. Surprisingly, Ashton and Serenity were able to get through to her. One of the first things Ashton said to Logan was, 'you're pretty'. It shocked Logan to hear that; the last time she was complimented on her looks she was getting some from Marcus. She nervously asked Ashton why he would say that; he responded that it was true and she looked like she could use some cheering up. It took a lot for Logan not to throw herself onto Ashton right then and there. She knew very well that if she screwed up here, it would be all over Fortunately, she wouldn't have to be concerned for long. Serenity asked Logan if she could teach her to be pretty, too. Serenity had gotten a new salon set for her birthday a while back and wanted to play with Logan. Not only did Logan play hairdresser with Serenity but the parents, Travis and Aria, took notice of how quickly the girls were bonding. Logan didn't even realize it was happening that quickly. The next thing she knew, her foster family was taking her shopping. During one of the outing Logan was gawking at a shirt - one with a great design but a little too short for her - and Aria told her she may not be getting it, but she could try it on. Logan asked her why they were being so good to her. What she did. Aria answered that she and her husband felt like they were able to give their kids so much; it was time they be able to give someone else something, too. They were happy to do it for her.
Those words might have meant more to Logan had it not been for Jaylyn. Jaylyn was used to her parents taking her on all those outings, treating her like a princess. She was threatened and jealous by Logan's presence. What did Logan do to deserve her family, anyway? Jaylyn let Logan have it every chance she got and tried to make her feel bad all over again. Luckily for Logan, Ashton and Serenity had her back. As hyper and as a little too happy-go-lucky that Serenity could be, she didn't need to think twice about accepting Logan. To that little kid, it didn't matter what hell Logan went through with all her other foster families or if she'd done anything wrong. It just mattered that she was there. And Ashton had been nothing short of constantly encouraging to Logan. When Logan was feeling down on herself, he knew what to say to cheer her up. Even though neither of them were very smart nor could help each other, they worked on homework together. They watched TV together. They played with Serenity together. Although once in a while Logan can't help but look at Ashton romantically, she sees the way he looks at her, which is the way he looks at Serenity. She's his sister. It doesn't matter if they're related or just foster siblings. They're family.
On Logan's first day of her first freshman year, she really wanted to look good and set a good impression. She did her hair and makeup nice, completely getting into it. Serenity asked if Logan could do her face, too. Logan told her maybe next time, but loved the compliments that (most of) the family showered on her that morning. She was pretty sure she heard Aria say she'd go to Logan for something instead of the spa. That was the first time Logan actually put effort into her appearance, because she felt like she finally had a worthwhile reason to look good. Her first day of high school went alright; for once she wasn't known as the foster kid or the girl with too many families. She was ending up on the right track. That is, until Jaylyn tried ruining her. Any chance Jaylyn got to say or do something that benefited her and tore down Logan, she did. Logan was taking everything away from her. Jaylyn found ways to turn people at school against Logan, people who Logan thought could become her friends. Logan didn't necessarily want to be a witch to anyone, but sometimes they just asked for it. When Travis and Aria got wind at how bad things at school were for Logan, as well as Jaylyn, they sent Jaylyn to therapy. Sometimes Logan would have to go with her and once in a while one or both of the parents would join them. But that didn't seem to help. And to Jaylyn, it just seemed like more and more people ganging up on her or taking Logan's side over hers. That Logan was taking over her life. So she started acting out. She fell in with a bad crowd. Took up smoking. Skipped classes to hook up with random guys.
When Jaylyn revealed that she was pregnant - let alone with a smile on her face, it nearly sent Logan over the edge. It gave Logan flashbacks to her mother, someone who she hadn't thought about in a long time. About how her mother would hook up with whoever just to trap a guy and get some sort of support. The only difference was that Jaylyn wasn't dong it completely for support - it was to get back at Logan entirely. She shut herself out for a few days as a result, scared ****less that the Terezas would kick her out now because they'd have a grandkid to worry about. A little over a week passed before Ashton talked to her. He asked if she could do something about his hair; not cut it, just style it a little different. Something about an event at school. While Logan worked on his hair, they didn't lose the sibling bond they created but at moments it was like a hairdresser/client relationship. That was one of the reasons Ashton brought up the particular discussion. He admitted that a lot of his friends were looking into colleges and figuring out what hey wanted to do while Ashton had no idea. Yet he was pretty sure he knew what Logan wanted to do. The way she was so fixated on doing his hair, making it look as perfect as she could, and the way she played wit her hair in general. Not to mention when she did her makeup in the morning, she seemed to have this comfort about her. Logan was surprised by his observations, but Ashton was certain that was what Logan was meant to do. That was when he suggested Metric. He heard about the college from one of his friends who had been wait-listed there. Ashton went so far as to bring his friend home to tell the whole family about the school. Though it was difficult to tell how pleased Jaylyn was with the idea; on one hand it would get Logan out of the house for most of the year but on the other hand it would mean Logan was still part of their family somehow. Aria agreed to take Logan to check the school out; Ashton was obviously going to join.
The difficult part would be getting Logan in. Her grades were not stellar in the least and with the past she had there was no telling how they'd react to her. They did offer scholarships, but would they be willing to take a chance on Logan? On top of that, it was almost two hours away. Was sending her here like kicking her out? Still, she was encouraged to give it her best shot. And somehow, she got in. Logan wasn't entirely sure if she should even accept it. She didn't want to be kicked out of another family. The majority of the Terezas insisted that this wasn't the case; she would still be a part of their family, fostered or not, and that for now some distance was the best thing for everyone. They had to deal with Jaylyn, obviously, though Logan is sure that Jaylyn will pop up pregnant again shortly after she has her baby. However they also wanted what was best for Logan, which they believe is to finally get her the education that she deserved in an environment where they feel like she can excel.
Her grades are still not the best. She still doesn't like being away from Ashton and Serenity. Ashton texts her at least once a day and Aria and Travis constantly message or email her, asking how everything is going. They send her pictures of Serenity and share funny stories. And, at times, if they feel Logan needs to know something about her case or any potential family members out there they will tell her (so far they have heard nothing which may or may not be a good thing). Sometimes Logan will message them back and share her experience at Metric. Other times she doesn't reply to them as much as she should because it still feels like she's been kicked out. Being in a new school again and tired of trying to explain herself and be a good girl or do whatever she felt like she should do, Logan reinvented herself. She sees certain kids on campus and can't help but stare or judge them the way she felt judged so much in the past. She has to go back to sharing space with people so she keeps her stuff to herself as much as possible, refusing for anyone to even touch anything that belongs to her. Admittedly, the cosmetology-related classes are interesting and Logan feels more and more than Ashton is right; that it should be what she does with her life.
Then there are the boys. Still with questionable judgment on how she should be treated by someone, Logan won't be afraid to hook up. She doesn't exactly want a relationship because look how that turned out with Marcus. What she does want is to feel the way that he made her feel. Hot. Appreciated. Loved. Comforted. Hard. Unbelievable. While she'd prefer to mostly make out with guys, if they wanted to go further...she probably wouldn't say no. What does it matter how many guys she may end up with anyway? It seemed to be working out perfectly fine for Jaylyn. And it's not like it'd matter to her foster parents because they're not watching her all the time. She's at Metric and they're not. What they don't know can't hurt them. She has nothing left to lose, after all. Nothing left to lose....
#OOC ;3*
Stuff:
&She has not heard from her mother since elementary school. Logan hasn't tried to search for her at all nor knows if she has any other half siblings or where the sisters she knows of are
&She loves watching "train wreck" TV like Maury, Steve Wilkos and Paternity Court. It makes her feel better about her life sometimes.
&If she had to guess Logan would estimate she's had almost 20 foster siblings, the majority being from the Wikhams. Don't ask her to name anyone; she could probably only remember 5 names.
&Her last name had never been changed throughout any of her homes even though she almost had three names throughout her life. Had she been adopted as a toddler her family would have renamed her Lana Unity Coden. If she and Marcus never did anything then her last name would have just been changed to Southers. But for now, her legal name is still her birth name.
&Her love of horses may or may not have come from her foster sister Serenity.
&She was 12 her first time with someone. Maybe it's time to get back into that swing of things....
&Logan doesn't understand what the hype is about over the Minions.
&Even though Logan would probably never admit it out loud, she's so grateful that her social workers changed. Her current one treats/treated her like a normal person more than her pervious one ever did.
&Her favorite reality shows are Teen Mom, 16 and Pregnant, Keeping up with the Kardashians, Little People LA and Catfish. Don't ask her why.
&Sometimes she thinks if she focuses so much on her looks, it's less for people to judge her by. She'll also make sure to weigh herself once a day or once every other day to make sure someone will find her attractive. If she's not good enough for any family to adopt her then she might as well be good enough on some level for somebody....
&She still thinks about Marcus, which could be for a variety of reasons. He was her first love, her first time, almost her baby daddy, she may not be completely over him....
